Current and Upcoming Exhibitions

In May and June, artist Judy Herman invites the public to see her work in four group shows as well as her studio at the Los Angeles Harbor Arts (LAHA).​

Colors of the Coast, Group Exhibition

In LAHA's downstairs Warehouse Gallery, "In House" features the debut of Herman's new series combining sculptural photography with poetic text. On exhibit now in Judy Herman's studio are additional works from the Poetic Image series as well as her Painterly Landscape Photographs.

The public is invited to visit the gallery and studio on First Thursday, June 4, 2026.

openings, thresholds, and points of transition, from literal doorways and reflections
​to more interpretive portals of change, memory, and emotional movement.
​Juried by Ann Jastrab, selected works are exhibited both in the Middlebury gallery and online.

This celebrated annual exhibition invites viewers into the rich and tactile world of paper, exploring its quiet strength, fragility, and limitless potential as a medium for drawing, printmaking, collage, and beyond.
​Herman is honored to have her miniature folding screen, "No Place Like Home," among the works of such a talented group of artists.
​This recognition speaks to the depth and material dialogue at the heart of her practice.
